Rodney “Bub” L. Cunningham, Sr., 80, Richland Center, died February 12, 2014 at the Richland Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born March 20, 1933 in Rockbridge, the youngest son of Floyd and Mildred (Sharp) Cunningham. He grew up in Richland Center, and graduated from the Richland Center High School.  He served his country first in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1950 to 1956 and then with the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1976 whereby he retired honorably from active duty.

A celebration of life will be held at the Blue River Civic Center on Saturday, June 7, from 9-11:30 a.m. with graveside honors to follow at Noon at the Blue River Cemetery.  Military honors will be accorded by the Blue River American Legion Post.
