Ronald Lawrence Coleman, 83, Strawberry Point, Iowa, died at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home on Sunday, January 19, 2014.

He was born on May 9, 1930, in Soldiers Grove, the son of Willis and Bernice (Conley) Coleman.  He was raised and educated in the area, attending Crawford County rural schools.

Funeral services will be held at  10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Strawberry Point.  Rev. Leonard Ranson officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Evergreen Cemetery in Mt. Sterling.
A visitation will be held at  9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, January 25 , 2014, at the United Methodist Church in Strawberry Point.

Honorary casket bearers are his grandsons, Dominic Rider, Jerry Rider,  Dana Rider,  Charro Coleman,  Chadd Coleman,  Dylan Coleman,  and Duncan Coleman.

Music will be furnished by Joan Thomas  and Eva Blobaum.

Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point, Iowa, is assisting the family with arrangements.
