Rose Ann Cox, age 83 of Rockford, Ill. died peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at her home in Rockford, Ill. surrounded by her loving husband and daughters. Rose was born Oct. 1, 1930 in Darlington, the daughter of Joseph and Eva (Kendall) O’Brien.

Private family funeral services were held with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Monroe. Memorials may be given in Rose’s name to Heartland Hospice of Rockford. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
Rose’s family would like to thank Heartland Hospice, her wonderful private health care workers, and Bernie Marinelli for her guidance.
