    Rosette (Rosie) Valerie King, 87 years old, died unexpectedly and was welcomed into the eternal garden of life on Dec. 14, 2015. She was born to Stephen and Laura (Taschek) Zenz on Nov. 13, 1928 in Darlington. Rosie was married to her soul mate, LeRoy King on Oct. 2, 1948 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington by Father Anthony Young. Together for 55 years, they built a beautiful life, family and home in Willow Springs Township.
    With a kind heart, Rosie faithfully guided and cared for family and friends with a listening ear and loving touch. She truly wanted nothing but health and happiness for those she loved. She was a creative and talented woman who enjoyed baking and cooking, dancing, gardening, reading, writing, and enjoying card club. A woman of faith, she provided foundation for her family. Throughout her life she provided support to family, neighbors and friends through happy and difficult times. She also served her community through local organizations including; Homemakers Club, the Catholic Daughters, and Country Club Women’s Auxiliary.
    Rosie is survived by her children: Marlene (Roger) Johnson – Mineral Point,  Sheila (Roy) Berrey – Lyndon Station, Kevin (Jeanette) King – Mineral Point, Betsy (Larry) Kluesner – Monroe, Kristine “Tina” (Pete) White – Mineral Point.
    Their thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; her
sister Elizabeth Hayes of Jonesboro, Ariz.; sister-in-law Grace King of Mineral Point; sister-in-law Dorella Zenz of Grants, N.M.
    Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband LeRoy, brother Walter Zenz; and two sisters Laura Atkinson and Ella Gerst and her grandson Bradley Johnson.
    Visitation was held at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Friday, Dec, 18, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.; and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at the church.
    Funeral was also held at Holy Rosary Church at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec, 19 with Rev. John Bosco Pudhota officiating.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Rosie’s favorite charities.
    Rosie will be truly missed. Her family and friends are comforted, knowing she has joined her true love.
