Ruth E. Blankenberg, 84, of Platteville, died on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at Southwest Health in Platteville.

A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Platteville. Visitation was from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass at the church. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville is serving the family. Memorials may be made to the Ruth E. While at the church, the family asked for people to wear a mask and to practice distancing.
