Sara Mae McDermott, 80, Platteville, died on Thursday, June 26 at Manor Care Health Services in Platteville.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1 at Westview Methodist Church in Platteville. Pastor Paul Glendenning officiated. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery in Platteville.  Visitation was from 4–8 p.m. on Monday, June 30 at Westview Methodist Church. There was an American Legion Auxiliary service at 3:30 p.m. There was also visitation from  9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
