Steven R. Walker, age 58 years, of Wonewoc, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015 at Reedsburg, WI.

He was born on Feb. 17, 1957 to Cletus and Lois (Havlik) Walker in Richland County, WI.  Steve graduated from the Ithaca High School in 1975.

He lived in the Hillsboro/Wonewoc area and worked for many years at Ray-O-Vac in Wonewoc doing maintenance work.  Steve was a Harley Davidson fanatic and was involved in Harley clubs.  He also enjoyed hunting and gun collecting.

Survivors include a step daughter, Korin (Rob) Stutesman and their daughter, Kaelyn; mother, Lois (John) Mitchell; siblings, Vicki (Floyd) Anderson, Dave (Anita) Walker, Kevin (Stella) Walker and Terry (Rose) Walker; nieces and nephews and a special friend, Monica Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cletus.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Steve’s life with a time of visiting, fellowship and food to be held on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016 from 1-4 p.m. at the Firemen’s Community Center in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.  Inurnment will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro at a later date.  The Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro assisted the family.
