Suzanne J. Steldt of Blue River passed away on October 9th, surrounded by her children at Schmidt Woodland Hills. She bravely fought a short battle with metastasized colon cancer.

Suzanne was the beloved wife of the late Curt Steldt and a devoted mother to Lucas Steldt his wife Nicole their children Brock, Avery, Colton, her son Jeff Steldt, daughter Tracy Troxel husband Jesse their children Jade, Junior, Jaxson, her son Chad Steldt wife Brooke their children Tristan, Whitney Kennedy. She was the cherished daughter of Elise and Edward Strand born on July 7, 1950, and a dear sister to Leonard, Mary, and Nancy.

We hope you can join us as we gather to honor Sue’s adventurous spirit and love of life. We’re throwing the kind of party she would have loved—full of music, laughter, and good food. Bring your best stories and your dancing shoes and help us send Sue off in style!

Celebration of life will be hosted by Sue’s children, Lucas, Jeff, Tracy, and Chad at The Dousman House, 230 N Water St, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821 on Saturday, November 1, 2025, 4:00 p.m. – Cocktail Hour, 5:00 p.m. – Dinner, Stories, and Video. The celebration continues into the evening with music and dancing.
