Thomas F. “Tom” Tierney, 67, Janesville, answered the bell one last time on Tuesday Sept. 26 with his daughter by his side. Tom succumbed to complications due to a heart surgery at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 3–5 p.m. and a short service followed at the Albrecht Funeral Homes and Cremation Services in Milton. In honor of Tom’s love for the Badgers, the family requested those attending to wear WI Badger apparel or red, white and black. Following the service, everyone was invited to celebrate Tom’s life and watch the Badger football game at Lucy’s Hideaway in Milton. Badgers kicked off at 7 p.m.
