Thomas Roy Jenson, age 87, formerly of Platteville, died peacefully on Dec. 8, 2014, at Our House Memory Care Assisted Living in Whitewater, due to a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Thomas was the son of Thomas Sr. and Hazel (Chritton) Jenson, born Nov. 27, 1927, at their rock home in Willow Springs Township of Lafayette County.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the Martin Schwartz Funeral Home in Platteville, with Pastor Jeffrey Pedersen of the Lutheran Church of Peace officiating. Burial was in the Belmont Cemetery, Belmont.  Family and friends called on Saturday from noon until time of services at the funeral home.  A memorial fund has been established in his name.
