Thomas R. “Parky” Parkinson, age 58 of rural Darlington, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (104 E. Harriet St., Darlington) where Rev. Luke Syse officiated with military rites given accorded by Bates-O’Brien-Howe-Wiegel-Roelli American Legion Post #214 of Darlington following the service. A visitation was held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
