Van G. Ferguson, 61, of Richland Center, died on Monday, February 2, 2015 following a nine month struggle with cancer.

He was born in Richland Center on October 13, 1953, the son of Glenn and Kathleen (Brewer) Ferguson. His childhood involved games with his brother and friends, visiting his favorite spot (his grandparents’ farm), squirrel hunting with his father and brother, church league softball, and a huge circle of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. Pastor Randy Sanders will officiate and burial will be in the Richland Center Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. or on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.

Van’s family suggests memorials in his name be directed to the American Cancer Society.
