Virginia K. Romanek, 86, a longtime resident of Wauzeka, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 with her family by her side, at the Prairie Maison Care Center in Prairie du Chien.

She was born February 5, 1929 in Orion Township near Muscoda, the daughter of Edward and Albina (Roh) Bomkamp.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Church, Wauzeka. Rev. Victor Feltes officiated and burial was in the Wauzeka Cemetery.

The Garrity Funeral Home, Prairie du Chien, was assisted the family.
