Wilbur W. “Will” Sugden, 98, Platteville, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 30 at Southwest Health in Platteville, with his wife, Laura, by his side.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Military rites were accorded by VFW Post #5274 and American Legion Post #42. Pastor Elizabeth Whitford, of Whig Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was at Whig Cemetery. Visitation was from noon until the time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Whig Methodist Church, whose members always made Will feel welcome and loved.
