William “Bill” Peter Valentine, 86, former resident of Raton and Springer, NM, Soldiers Grove, and Lubbock, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas.

A Memorial Mass was held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church, rural Gays Mills with interment immediately following at St. Philip Cemetery. Friends called from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills and also one hour before the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans organization of your choice.
