Wilma M. Richardson, 91 of Platteville, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at Southwest Health Center. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Platteville United Methodist Church. Rev. Brenda Whitford was officiating. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville. Wilma was born on Sept. 19, 1920, in Lancaster, the daughter of Robert and Matilda (Blackbourn) Burgess. She was united in marriage to Clarence Roddick on March 12, 1940. They raised their family in the Platteville area until his death on Sept. 13, 1975. Full obituary in the February 9, 2012 issue of the Republican Journal.
