In all 40 area players were selected by local media that cover the SWC, SWAL, and Six Rivers conferences in southwest Wisconsin.
This is the sixth year that the players have been honored in this way.
The Master of Ceremonies for the event was Queen B Radio Sales Manager Rick Sanson, who introduced the speaker for the evening, Douglas McArthur, WFCA Hall of Fame coach from Darlington.
The awards were presented by Doug Wagen, R.J. Osterhaus, and Jon Satterlee, game announcers for the radio stations. Zor Shrine Potentate Bob Gorsuch shared with the players and their families who the Shriners are and a little about the Shrine Hospitals.  A contribution to the Chicago Shrine Hospital was made in the players’ honor.
