Radloff scores game-high 22 points to lead PdC girls past Eisenhower

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN — The 2024–25 girls basketball regular season kicked into full gear for Prairie du Chien this past week when the Hawks won three straight games.

The schedule began last Monday night, Nov. 25, when the Mount Horeb Vikings came to town. The Hawks jumped out to a 31–14 lead at halftime and held the Vikings to eight points in the second half. The Lady Hawks pulled away for a 51–22 victory. Karly Kramer and Tannah Radloff each scored 12 points to lead Prairie.

Prairie du Chien traveled to Kettle Moraine High School in Wales last Friday to compete in the annual Kettle Moraine Thanksgiving Classic against New Berlin Eisenhower. The two teams exchanged leads early on in the game before the Hawks took the lead for good before extending their lead to 35–21 at halftime.

Prairie maintained a double digit lead over Eisenhower through the second half, pushing the lead to 20-plus points. The game ended with a final score of 58–37 in favor of PdC. Radloff scored a game high 22 points. Rita Achenbach (12 points) and Greenlee Krahn (10 points) joined Radloff in double figures scoring wise. Kramer (eight points), Claire Kennedy (four points) and Tessa Czajkowski Higgins (two points) rounded out the Hawks scoring.

The Division 3 #9-ranked Hawks traveled to Fennimore the next night and defeated the Golden Eagles 51–26 to improve their record to 4–0 on the season. Prairie du Chien traveled to Holmen Tuesday night before they begin conference play against Richland Center Thursday night.
