NORTH CRAWFORD-SENECA The North Crawford-Seneca wrestling team traveled to Brookwood on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The young team looked energetic in the 24-48 loss, getting team points from Beau Jelinek, Wyatt Sanders, Ben Benson and Orsat Moretic.

The NC-S team then crossed the river, on Thursday, Dec. 12 to participate in a multi-dual in Elkader, Iowa. The team wrestled against Elkader Central, Central City and MFL Mar Mac.

NC-S went 1-2 in the dual meets.  Against MFL Mar Mac the team showed great improvement compared to their meeting the week before.

North Crawford-Seneca got their first dual meet win of the season against Central City.  Some key matches of the night included two pins for Ben Benson and one pin for Cameron Johnson.

For those that are participating in the 2020 Season Pin Pledge that brings the season total up to seven pins so far. If you have not got in on the pin pledge, talk to one of the high school wrestlers.

The high school wrestlers travel to Whitehall Friday, Dec. 20 for the Whitehall Invitational. Wrestling begins at 4:30 p.m.
