Lady Cats roll without their coach
They remain in third place in the Scenic Bluffs

NECEDAH — Without head coach Ron Benish, the Hillsboro girls’ basketball team had little trouble at Necedah last Thursday night.

With assistant coach Steve Meylor filling in for the absent Benish, Hillsboro rolled to an easy 52–16 victory.

No other game information was provided to the Sentry Enterprise prior press time.

The Tigers improved to 13–2 overall and 6–2 in the Scenic Bluffs Conference. Hillsboro remains in third place beind league-leading Brookwood (13–1, 9–0 SBC) and second-place Bangor (10–5, 7–1).

Meanwhile, struggling Necedah fell to 2–14 overall and 0–9 in the conference play.

Hillsboro hosted Bangor on Tuesday night with a chance to pull into a tie for second place with a win.

The Tigers will now host Cashton (6–10, 5–4) Friday night before traveling to Bangor on Tuesday.
