North Crawford Cross Country teams compete at Westby Invitational

The North Crawford cross country teams are off to a good start this year with the season beginning Monday, Aug. 19.

“They have been practicing hard and getting better every day,” Coach Mike Allbaugh said recently.

 The Trojans competed in the Westby Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Many teams competed and the young North Crawford athletes did very well.  Powerhouse Boscobel won both the boys and girls events as a team, while North Crawford girls placed tenth and the boys placed ninth.

“We have a very young and inexperienced team and are getting stronger every day,” Allbaugh commented after the meet. “I am very excited to have such a young and energetic group to work with. We have a large team this year and are going to continue to get better with each practice.”
