Seneca girls defeat Wonewoc

The Seneca girls’ basketball team defeated Weston on the road last Thursday, Jan. 3.

The 46-32 Indians’ victory was thanks in part to leading scorers Taylor Redman, who had 16 points, and Logan Lessard, who had 13 points. Brianna Brockway also added nine points while Alexis Payne contributed eight. Brianna Brockway had seven rebounds while Elizabeth Garfoot had six rebounds. Garfoot also led the team with three steals, while Taylor Redman had five assists.

The Seneca Indians took on Wonewoc-Center on Tuesday night and will play at home tonight, Thursday Jan. 10, against North Crawford.
