Tiger wrestlers end regular season on losing note
Brookwood gets three forfeits, wins six of 11 matches

Hillsboro closed out the regular season Friday night with a 54–24 dual meet loss to Brookwood.

The visiting Falcons collected forfeits at 106, 170 and 285, and won six of Friday’s 11 contested matches via pin.

Hillsboro did manage five victories in the dual, including pins by Mitch Beckwith (4–11) at 120, Logan Rohn (7–16) at 126 and Tyler Seeley (7–12) at 152.

Nolan Hammer (13–11) won the match of the night, earning a 12–10 sudden victory over Josef Perrigo with an overtime takedown.

Senior Max Sebranek (26–7) notched his 26th victory of the season with a 10–4 victory over Isaish Sletton at 182 pounds.
Hillsboro finished the regular season 1–5 overall and 1–4 in Scenic Bluffs dual meet.

The Tigers will travel to Brookwood High School in Ontario Saturday for the Scenic Bluffs, Ridge and Rivers combined conference tournament.
