Seneca defeats Ithaca in three sets in non-conference game

SENECA - The Seneca volleyball team played a non-conference game at Ithaca On Monday Oct. 7 and beat the Bulldogs in three sets–25-10, 25-18 and 25-9.

Makenna Greene led the team with 10 kills and seven service aces.

Anya Aspenson had seven kills and Savanna Wallin had five kills.

Delaney Boland had one kill and seven assists

Freshman Grace Check had four digs, while junior setter Nicky Trautsch had nine digs, three aces and 15 assists.

“The girls did a nice job covering their hitters and getting their serves in,” Seneca head coach Jessica Olson said of the team’s performance. “We only missed two serves all night.”
