FALL RIVER – There was nothing upsetting about Black Hawk’s performance against Fall River on Saturday night.
The #10-ranked and #2-seeded Pirates (30–10 overall) may have held the higher seed coming into the night, but the #8-ranked and #3-seeded Warriors (25–4–1) used an overwhelming offensive attack to sweep their way to the program’s first regional crown in 12 years with a 25–10, 25–15, 25–9, victory in a WIAA Division 4 regional championship volleyball match held at Fall River High School on Oct. 26.
