SOUTH WAYNE — Black Hawk’s freshmen trio of Natalie Leuzinger, Hannah Butler and Maddy Huschitt combined for 43 points in their varsity debut to lead the host Lady Warriors to a 61-33 non-conference victory over Stockton in a prep girls’ basketball game at BHHS on Monday, Nov. 28.
Leuzinger poured in 21 of her game-high 28 points in the opening half to lead the Warriors (1-0 overall) out to a 35-12 halftime lead. Butler added seven of her nine points in the first half, while Huschitt sank a pair of 3-pointers to account for her six second-half points.
