Kauffman sets new record at meet

BOSCOBEL - The track team was at Prairie du Chien this past Monday.

The girls took tenth out of 12 teams, and the boys took sixth out of twelve.

“There were many Division I and II teams there with which Boscobel was able to compete,” noted Coach Mark Ekiss.

The highlight of the meet came during the 3200-meter when Dakota Kauffman broke the meet record by 6 seconds and ran a 9:32.68.

Mackenzie Kauffman was also an event winner in the 3200, with a time of 12:14.78.

Other notable performances were from Jordam Molfoz taking second in the 800-meter (2:03.52), Seth Laxton taking second in the 400-meter (55.10), and the 4x200-meter relay of Chase Kull, Cauy Isaacson, Seth Laxton, and Brandon Mindham taking second with a time of 1:36.63.
