BOSCOBEL - It was an exciting back-and-forth game ending the regular season for the Boscobel volleyball team, as they faced Riverdale last Thursday on the home court.

The Lady Bulldogs came out a bit flat in the first set. The Chieftains were quick to take advantage, earning the set, 25-14. Regrouping, the Bulldogs turned the tables on their rivals for their own 25-14 win. Riverdale rallied to take the third set 25-18, only to see Boscobel turn it back with a 25-16 win, forcing the match into a fifth set to be played to 15 points.

The Lady Bulldogs maintained their momentum to take the set, and match, with a 15-10 win.

This game was Pink Night, an annual event for the two teams, helping raise awareness of breast cancer.

This was also Senior Night. The team loses four seniors to graduation this year – MacKenzie Fischer, Jayden Molzof, Katelyn Wiegel, and Hailey Bray – all of whom were honored at the game.

The Lady Bulldogs ended the regular season 2-13 overall and 2-11 in conference.
