BOSCOBEL - The Boscobel girls’ basketball team entered Wildcat Country Friday night for a Conference match-up with Southwestern. The Bulldogs were coming off of two straight wins and were looking to make it three in a row.
The Wildcats were able to take an early 4-0 lead before the Bulldogs responded and eventually tied the game. The scoring was back and forth early in the game, in which the Bulldogs led 12-11 before the going on a 34-6 run. They never looked back on their way to a 63-37 victory.
“We were very energetic throughout the entire game, everyone was involved” said Bulldog Coach Jason Hill.
The Bulldogs played suffocating defense and were led in the first half by guard Alyssa Davis (10 points) and forward Danielle Ernst (nine points).
