Munson amps up the scoring

NORTH CRAWFORD - The North Crawford boys basketball team started the season on fire this year. 

The Trojans are 4-0 so far. They notched their first conference victory with a 55-43 win over the LaFarge Wildcats Last Thursday, Dec. 5.

North Crawford’s Stephen Munson led all scorers with 35 points. The sophomore guard scored 18 points in the first half and 17 in the second half.
Lathrop tosses them in

The Trojans’ junior guard Quentin Lathrop scored 13 points and senior guard Daymian Mack scored three. 

Rounding out the scoring for North Crawford were senior forward Tayler Peery with two points, and Grady Stovey and Devlin Smith with one point each.

The Trojans were coming off their toughest game of the season played against Hillsboro at home on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

When the dust settled the Trojans had defeated Hillsboro 57 -55.

 In that game, the team used a balanced scoring attack from its three guards. Stephen Munson led the team in scoring with 23 points and Quentin Lathrop scored 19. Senior guard Day mian Mack added 11 points.

Rounding out the scoring for the Trojans against Hillsboro were Stovey, Peery and Smith with two points apiece.

The North Crawford boys basketball team will host Ithaca on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7:15 p.m., and travel to Weston on Thursday, Dec. 19 with play commencing at 7:15 p.m.
