NORTH CRAWFORD - Things did not go well for the North Crawford football team on the road at Necedah last Friday to play the New Lisbon team.

New Lisbon scored 26 points in the first quarter and 19 in the second quarter to go into the locker room at halftime 45-0 and that turned out to be final score.

“The struggles continue, as the Trojans try to find their identity,” first-year coach Jeremy Fradette said after the game.

With sophomore quarterback Stephen Munson out with an injury, it was up to sophomore wide receiver Keegan Bender and senior tight end Hayden Clark to takeover the quarterbacking responsibilities.

For the game, Bender was 3-5 throwing for 15 yards and Clark was 3-10 for 17 yards and four interceptions.

Sophomore wide receiver Chris Long caught four passes for a total of 20 yards.

The Trojans are scheduled to host the Seneca-Wauzeka-Steuben Blue-Golds this Friday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. Both teams are reeling from big losses in the last two weeks.
