The Ruettens celebrated 40 years of marriage by renewing their vows.
Steve and Denise were married May 4, 1979 by Rev. George Anderson in Richland Center. They have 5 children: Stephanie Ruetten of Georgia, Steven Ruetten of Richland Center, Natasha (Donnie) Ruetten of Spring Green, Joseph Ruetten of Richland Center, Lydia (Brandon) Henry of Westby and five grandsons: Chase, Noah, Chance Ruetten, Cecil von Allmen, and Malaki Henry, and two more grandchildren on the way.
The couple renewed their vows at their home on May 4, 2019 with family. Freddy Sass performed the ceremony.
