James and Jannan (Bryhan) Shaw are celebrating 60 years of marriage. They were married on Aug. 2, 1952 in Lancaster.

They have five children: Dave (Julie) Shaw of Colorado Springs, Colo., Diane (Steve) Schneider of Lancaster, Dan (Cris) Shaw of Sheboygan, Linda (Tom) Wandersee of Bruce Crossing, Mich., and Laurie (Jim) Ihm of Peosta, Iowa.  They have 13 grandchildren: Cheri, Amy, Brian, James, John, Joseph, Katrina, Brian, Kristine, Michael, Ashley, Steven and Amy. They have 13 great-grandchildren: Logan, Luke, Brooke, Paige, Skye, Kennedy, Bennett, Joey, Connor, Becca, Jordyn, Brody and Liam.

The Shaws will celebrate with an Open House on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at Christ Lutheran Church from 2 to 6 p.m.  Family and friends are welcome.
