Gary Scheffert and Kayleigh Brooks, Platteville, announce the birth of their son, Daxton Jordan Scheffert, at 11:09 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
Daxton weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. He joins three brothers, Chase Brooks, 11, Gary Fountain, 14 and Gaige Fountain-Scheffert, 9; and four sisters, Ruby Anne, 3; Aaliyah Scheffert, 4, Airiel Scheffert, 3, and Neveah Fountain, 13.
Grandparents are Joely and Bakary Saidykhan, Platteville, and Stephanie Smith and Gary Scheffert, East Dubuque.

Great-grandparents are Mary Gates, Hazel Green, and John Small, Dubuque.

A son, Harvey John Hagenston, was born on May 18, 2024, at The Richland Hospital to Dalton Hagenston and Regan Marino of Muscoda. He weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz., and is 21 inches long. He joins a brother, Elyas Fischer, 1; and a sister Everleigh Fischer, 3. Grandparents are David Hagenston, Robin Varney, John and Tracy Marino of Muscoda. Great-grandparents are Harvey and Jilda Jagenston, Carlene and John Stadele. The father works for Chimney Specialists; and the mother is a stay-at-home mom.
