For the second year the fair will include a wedding dress display featuring 19 wedding dresses from the 1930s to today in the grade school gym Saturday.

The ninth annual Ben’s Hope 5K Run and 2-Mile Walk will be held at Mound View Park in Platteville Saturday, with registration at 9 a.m. and the ceremony at 10 a.m.

Ben’s Hope was created by Terry and Patti Cullen after the death by suicide of their son Benjamin, 27, in 2014, “to spare other families from bearing the hardships and pain that our family has endured since Ben’s suicide.”
