Biddick Foundation observes 29th year
EGB CornField
Elmer Biddick founded the Biddick Foundation in 1984.

In 1984, Elmer G. Biddick, a long-time farmer and hybrid seed corn pioneer, designated a portion of his assets to fund the Elmer G. Biddick Charitable Foundation.

Elmer and his wife Ada, a founding contributor of the Southwest Wisconsin Rural Artists Association, wished to support the people of Southwest Wisconsin with grants to schools, units of government, and nonprofit organizations.

Since its beginning, many people have served on the Elmer G. Biddick Charitable Foundation Board of Directors, including family members, Biddick Inc. and Rural Route 1, Inc. employees, and members from the community. Since the foundation’s beginning, nearly $350,000 has been awarded to the local community.

Additional information about the Elmer G Biddick Charitable Foundation including a grant application, email address, and grant submission dates can be found at the foundation website. www.biddickfoundation.com.
