Family Pet Hospital LLC broke ground for the construction of a new veterinary clinic at 1620 Means Dr. in Platteville. 

The new 5,600-square-foot facility will feature four exam rooms and two treatment areas, as well as separate hospital wards for dogs and cats.  An expanded surgery suite will allow additional growth in advanced surgical procedures.  

“We are excited to be building a new facility which will allow us to expand the high quality care we provide for our patients,” said Dr. Terry Beebe, owner of Family Pet Hospital LLC.

Grooming is one of the new services that will be added.  Boarding areas will include spacious dog runs and suites. A play area is included in the Cat Condos.

With the new services, at least one full-time employee and one or two part-time employees will be added, with more to be added as business increases.

Chris Jones Construction Inc. of Cuba City is the general contractor. Delta 3 Engineering, Inc. of Platteville is overseeing the project.  Completion is scheduled for May.
