Southwest Health Center management, board members and other guests broke ground on the hospital’s $7 million expansion, expected to open next August. The 20,000-square-foot expansion will host SHC’s new women’s health center and orthopedic and sports medicine programs, along with more room for SHC’s rehabilitation services department and an expanded specialty physicians’ clinic.
