MUSCODA - This old house model has recently been an attention-getter for people visiting the Foggy Bottom Woodworking office on Warehouse Street, Muscoda. Rick and Nancy Tisdale, business owners, explained that in the distant past architects might build a detailed model of a proposed structure before it was constructed, and that may have been the case with this house.

They understand the three-story house was, and may still be, present in Muscoda. They are hoping someone may be able to come forth with information regarding the structure’s history.

The Tisdales say that sometime during the coming winter, the model will be packed up and they will personally deliver it to their customer who lives in Palm Springs, California. When it arrived at Foggy Bottoms, the model was in need of considerable restoration.

Employee Shawn Chitwood is credited with doing most of that detailed work, with the Tisdales joining in.
