PlugTown Pizza open in Boscobel

 Some of you may have noticed while driving down Oak Street in Boscobel a new business has popped up.

Plugtown Pizza opened its doors to serve up fresh brick oven pizzas about three weeks ago, and business has been steadily growing.

“We’re going into our third week and deliveries have really picked up,” owner Deb Childs said Friday.

“We also have had a lot of repeat customers, and that speaks volumes,” bookkeeper and right hand lady Shannon Fortney added.

Brisbois reflects on economic 2024

Grant County Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Ron Brisbois reflected on his 25th year in the job Dec. 4 after the annual meeting of the corporation. Brisbois compared 2024 to his previous 24 years, as well as looked into what the future holds for the region.
