Shullsburg Music
in the Park
SHULLSBURG – The 2017 Shullsburg Music in the Park schedule starts on Thursday, July 13 with the Ten Gallon Hat Band. Food and beverages provided by the Shullsburg Community Development Coorporation. All concerts are at Badger Park in Shullsburg and go from 7:00-8:30 p.m. All are free of charge and are rain or shine. Bring your lawn chair. Tunes at Twilight
DARLINGTON – Tunes at Twilight will be every Sunday evening in July from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Darlington Veterans Memorial Park. In case of rain, everything will be moved to the Community Center Gym. Bring a blanket, lawn chair & appetite. Summer treats will be sold on location by local organizations. July 16, the local talent will grace the park with their music.
Women’s Guild
DARLINGTON – The Women’s Guild of Immanuel UCC will be meeting at the Darlington Country Club on Thursday, July 13 for a Fun Day at 12noon.
Sons of Norway
MONROE – The Sons of Norway will meet on July 13 at the Union Presbyterian Church at 2707 5th Street in Monroe at 7 p.m.
Senior Day Pie Contest
DARLINGTON - Since 2010 the Live Well Lafayette Coalition has been a part of “Senior Day” at the Lafayette County Fair. We sponsor food, a theme, and music from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on July 14.  This year our theme is “Making Memories.”  We will be having a pie making/baking contest and giving out prizes.  There is no entry fee for the pie making/baking contest and we welcome bakers of all ages.   Music will be provided by the Larry Busch Band.  We are hoping for a great turn out!  Entry into the fair is FREE on Friday, July 14. Seniors can come and enjoy a scoop of ice cream & Pie!  Contact the Aging & Disability Resource Center at 776-4960 for a registration form or more information.
DHS Class of 1947 Reunion
DARLINGTON – The Darlington High School Class of 1947 reunion will be held at the Darlington Country Club on Sunday, July 16 at 12:30 p.m.
Senior Center Music and Lunch
DARLINGTON – The Senior Center will have their Lunch and Music special on Thursday, July 20 and 27 at the Darlington Senior Center. On July 20, there will be a steak lunch at 11:30 a.m. and on July 27 there will be music by Rosalie and Ron Kittleson. It is $4.50 for the lunch. RSVP by July 17 to 776-4969.
Summer Outreach Adult Education Classes
DARLINGTON – The summer session for the SW Tech-Darlington Outreach Adult Education classes will be June 6 through July 25, Tuesdays only, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Job Center Conference Room, 2nd floor of the Darlington Municipal Building. Community Blood Drive
DARLINGTON - The American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to resolve to give blood regularly. Sixteen year olds are accepted with parental consent. New donors must bring a photo ID and another form of ID.
