THE ANTIQUE TRACTOR PULL at Ferryville River and Bluff Daze is always a good time. This year the event will roll into town on Saturday July 23. A busy bustling day is in store for all who attend.

The Oooooh’s and Ahhhhh’s will be abundant, when the Best Fireworks Show fills the skies over the Mississippi River at Ferryville on Saturday, July 23 at dusk.  For more details go to www.visitferryville.com

A busy and noisy day is in store for everyone in Ferryville on Saturday, July 23. Market in the Park/Farmers Market begins at 9 a.m. featuring Amish goods, produce, crafts, quilts, birdhouses, yard ornaments and a variety of other products at Sugar Creek Park.  

The Reuben Knutson Memorial Antique Tractor pull weigh-in is 10 a.m. to noon.  There are three classes for the pull.  The Antique Class, Ageless Farm Class and Non-Turbo Farm Class. At noon, the 10th Annual Reuben Knutson Memorial Antique Tractor Pull begins for all to enjoy at the Village of Ferryville Community Center located at 170 Pine Street.

To register for the Antique Tractor Pull, go to www.ferryvilletractor.com.  The Antique Tractor Pull is hosted and organized by the Ferryville Antique Tractor Association with raffle tickets on sale now and several drawings in the afternoon at the event.  Raffle Tickets can also be purchased for $5 now and at the event. 

At 8:30 a.m., a Nature Hike at Sugar Creek Bluff starts by folks gathering at the Ferryville Boat Landing to carpool up to Sugar Creek Bluff. An expert guide will accompany those who are on the hike to see birds, wildlife, wildflowers and experience the panoramic view of the Mississippi River Valley.  This is co-sponsored by the Ferryville Tourism Council and the Mississippi Valley Conservancy. Beginning at noon, all children will be able to participate in the Kids Games at the Ferryville Fire Station. Food and beverages will be available at the Ferryville Community Center provided by Freeman Lutheran Church and adult beverages by the Ferryville Fire Department and First Responders.  Food at Sugar Creek Park is by Capelle’s Cuisine with a variety of menu items.

Transportation to the Market in Sugar Creek Park will be available via tractor and wagon. A variety of vendors are available at the Market with Amish quilts, baskets, local produce, baked goods and more.

The annual Ferryville Vision & Promotion raffle this year features a one-of-a-kind, absolutely gorgeous King/Queen Size Quilt (value of $600) created by a local quilt artist, as well as from Kay’s Potiques - a Hi Fired original unique design stoneware bowl (value of $120) and a $100 Cabela’s gift certificate.  All will be on display and raffle tickets are available all day for $1/ticket or $5 for 6 tickets at the Community Center.  These raffle items will be drawn at 9 p.m.  Theresa Yaeger, Raffle Chairperson, can be contacted at 608-734-3977 for additional information.

The tractor pull will end at 4:30 p.m.   Then activity will move downtown where the restaurants – The Swing Inn and Wooden Nickel - will all have food specials. There will be ‘live music’ from 5 p.m to dusk, sponsored by The Sportsman Inn owner, Jim Smith and they will be located at River View Park in the heart of downtown Ferryville, Wisconsin.

Fireworks start at dusk.  The BEST fireworks show around is put on each year by Mike and Roberta Callaway and staff of Cheapo Depot/Fireworks Outlet and also sponsored by Ferryville Vision and Promotion Board with donations by the entire community.
