ACA help offered at library

The Gays Mills Public Library has invited Benefit Advisers Insurance Company to come to the library to assist people who are interested in signing up for the Affordable Health Care Act. Benefit Advisers will be on hand on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to noon.

If you are interested in receiving insurance assistance to see if you qualify for assistance based on your income, please schedule an appointment with Benefit Advisers Insurance Agency by calling 608-779-0633. It is recommended that you bring Social Security numbers for anyone signing up, income information, policy numbers for any health insurance that you may currently be covered by, your ‘Notice of Exchange’ provided by your employer.

The Benefit Advisers Insurance Agency representatives have been trained to assist the public in enrollment in the new online ‘Marketplace.’ The library will provide special hours for this enrollment morning outside of the regular hours of business. The computers will only be available for use by the agents and those they are assisting.
