The Park Place Senior Apartments and the “Hearts in Motion” community walking club took part recently in the Grant County Hat Project founded by Linda Dressler of Platteville. Dressler collects knitted, crocheted or loom made hats and donates them to the Grant County Holiday Project, which then gives them to families in need. Dressler taught the group how to make hats from a small loom. The project donated 595 hats this year.
