Alice Van Bogaert, age 84, died July 5, 2016. Surviving are her children: Donna, Ken (Mary), Cindy (Steve Chalupnik), Dianne Parker (Darin Heyerdahl), Steve (Lori), Laura Douglas (Dan). Her husband, Charles, died in 2005. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Philomena’s Catholic Church (388 Chestnut Street, Belmont). A visitation was held Saturday, July 9, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the church. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be used for a memorial scholarship fund.

Marilyn Jean Myers Ellis, 85, most recently of St. Cloud, MN passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A celebration of life for Marilyn will take place at First Lutheran Church in Hinckley, MN on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Marilyn asked that family and friends wear bright colors in remembrance of her love for flowers.  Burial will take place at the Lutheran Memorial Cemetery in Hinckley following the service, with a luncheon afterwards at the church.Marilyn loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed.  Our thanks to those who provided care and support in her last few weeks.
