Brian J. “Hubby” Hubbard, 34, of Platteville, died of natural causes on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services are 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiated. Visitation is Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Brian Hubbard Memorial Fund. Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.

Judd Rowan Schmitz, 10, Boscobel, left this world far too soon on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

A memorial service honoring Judd’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore, with Pastor Lance Wetter officiating. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, and again on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
