Charles A. Kranz, 76, of the rural Stevens Point area, formerly of Darlington, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church (15691 County Road K, Darlington) where Rev. Nick J. McElrath officiating. A visitation was held Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, from 4-7 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main St., Darlington) and on Saturday from noon until 12:45 p.m. at the church.

Catherine “Katie” McDonald, 85, of Bell Center, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Maplewood in Sauk Prairie.

Katie was born on July 15, 1940, in Chicago, IL, to Michael and Mary (Monahan) Duggan. She was the only one of her siblings born in a hospital. A proud member of the first graduating class of Queen of Martyrs Grammar School in 1954, she later attended Morgan Park High School. Katie was known for her beautiful natural curly hair, her outgoing and bubbly personality, and her unwavering sense of purpose.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gays Mills. Visitation was held from Noon until 1:45 p.m. at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills.  Online condolences may be shared at www.vossfh.com.
