Donald “Chief” R. Ritchie, age 91, Cobb, passed away peacefully on Monday October 27, 2025, at Crestridge Assisted Living in Dodgeville.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday October 31, 2025, at the Cobb United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Cobb,. The “Fireman’s Last Call” will be conducted at the committal service honoring Don’s years of service with the Cobb Fire Department. Following the committal service everyone is welcome to the Celebration of Life at Ritchie Implement in Cobb.  

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday October 30, 2025, at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Monfort, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday morning.
