WOODMAN—Doris Ruth (Vogt) Friar, age 95, of Woodman, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Miguel Galvez at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Mount Hope Township on Saturday, Aug. 23, followed by a luncheon at St. Mary’s Parish Hall in Fennimore. Please consider making a donation to the Woodman First Responders, Boscobel Rescue Squad or St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery Trust. The Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel assisted the family.

Judy Buss, born May 25, 1939 in the village of Belmont to Gilbert and Anna (Schult) Ludlum. She died May 25, 2025 in Southwest Health in Platteville, surrounded by family on her 86th birthday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 29, at noon at St. Philomena Catholic Church.  Fr. Bernie Rott will officiate.  Burial will be in the Belmont Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the Gorgen Funeral Home in Mineral Point on Wednesday, May 28 from 4 until 7 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 until 11:50 a.m. at the church.
