Douglas R. Eck, 62, of Platteville passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22 at his home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 11:30 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster. Pastor Chukie Ifediora officiated. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Visitation was on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Douglas Eck memorial fund has been established. Online condolences may be left at martinschwartzfuneralhomes.com.

Judy Buss, born May 25, 1939 in the village of Belmont to Gilbert and Anna (Schult) Ludlum. She died May 25, 2025 in Southwest Health in Platteville, surrounded by family on her 86th birthday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 29, at noon at St. Philomena Catholic Church.  Fr. Bernie Rott will officiate.  Burial will be in the Belmont Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the Gorgen Funeral Home in Mineral Point on Wednesday, May 28 from 4 until 7 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 until 11:50 a.m. at the church.
